Have CEA Industries's shares ever split?
CEA Industries's shares were split on a 1:12 basis on 6 June 2024 . So if you had owned 12 shares the day before before the split, the next day you'd have owned 1 share. This wouldn't directly have changed the overall worth of your CEA Industries shares – just the quantity. However, indirectly, the new 1100% higher share price could have impacted the market appetite for CEA Industries shares which in turn could have impacted CEA Industries's share price.
CEA Industries share price volatility
Over the last 12 months, CEA Industries's shares have ranged in value from as little as $5.22 up to $11.04. A popular way to gauge a stock's volatility is its "beta".
Beta is a measure of a share's volatility in relation to the market. The market (NASDAQ average) beta is 1, while CEA Industries's is 1.08. This would suggest that CEA Industries's shares are a little bit more volatile than the average for this exchange and represent, relatively-speaking, a slightly higher risk (but potentially also market-beating returns).
To put CEA Industries's beta into context you can compare it against those of similar companies.
