BioRestorative Therapies overview
BioRestorative Therapies, Inc. develops therapeutic products and medical therapies using cell and tissue protocols primarily involving adult stem cells. The company develops programs relate to the treatment of disc/spine disease and metabolic disorders. Its products pipeline comprises BRTX-100, a lead cell therapy candidate formulated from autologous cultured mesenchymal stem cells collected from the patient's bone marrow, as well as used for the non-surgical treatment of painful lumbosacral disc disorders or as a complimentary therapeutic to a surgical procedure; and ThermoStem, a cell-based therapy candidate to target obesity and metabolic disorders using brown adipose derived stem cells to generate brown adipose tissue. The company also provides investigational curved needle device to deliver cells and/or other therapeutic products or material to the spine and discs, and other parts of the body. BioRestorative Therapies, Inc. has a research and development agreement with Rohto Pharmaceutical Co.
