Ever wondered how much it’d cost to buy your own private island, yacht or jet? We did — and the figures ain’t pretty.
If you’ve got a lazy $21.5 million lying around, you can call your own island home. Or you can pick up your average yacht for about half that at $10.8 million. If that’s still too much, opt for a private jet at just shy of $4 million. But then, what’s the point of a private jet without a private island?
How much for the lot?
If our figures flash past your eyes and you think, “Well, that sounds reasonable,” why not go big with all three?
Take Little Pipe Cay in the Bahamas. This piece of pristine white sand can be yours for a meager $85 million. Couple that with a 20-year loan on a yacht and private jet, and you’re looking at laying out $86,287,950.80 in your first year of ownership.
To save about $23 million, you can always slum it on Spectabilis Island, which will run you $62 million. Add to that the cost of your yacht and jet, and you’re looking at $63.3 million in the first year. You’re practically stealing it at this point.
