Hey team i am in india and i got a USpostal money order in the mail from my friend who is in usa ..i tried indian post office and some banks to encash it or encash in my bank account but still they are not able to do it…so anybody here can help me how to do that…amount is $300..

Unfortunately, India does not accept USPS money orders. You can also see on this page other countries that do not accept this type of money order.
In your case, you would need to ask your friend to send you money using these other methods. You can also ask your friend to refund your USPS money order though a fee may incur when doing so.

I’d be happy to answer your question on USPS Money Order.
The Philippines is, unfortunately, not on the list of countries that accept USPS money orders.
There are several options available for you. First, although a bit lengthy process, if you have a relative in the States, send them back the money order and let them cash it in for you. The second option, if time is of the essence, try money changers. This option might be the least advantageous for you as you can be sure that they will give you a low exchange rate, but, it’s sure is worth trying if you need the funds right away.
