How safe is the Jeep Renegade?

The latest model of the Jeep Renegade has been evaluated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for safety ratings. The Jeep Renegade received a 4-Star Overall Safety Rating by the NHTSA. The frontal crash test and the rollover crash test were awarded four, out of five stars. The side crash test was given the highest rating of five stars.

The IIHS didn’t rated the small overlap front crash test and the rear crash protection test. The other crash tests were deemed as good, the highest rating possible, by the IIHS. There is also advanced front crash prevention, which is above average.
