Endsleigh’s single trip insurance
Endsleigh’s single trip insurance is intended to cover you for one trip to a single destination. With this policy you get the choice between essential and comprehensive cover.
The policy will cover you for:
- Medical expenses and personal accidents
- Legal expenses
- Cancellation, delays, airline failures and loss of baggage
Endsleigh’s annual multi-trip travel insurance
Endsleigh’s annual multi-trip travel insurance covers you for an unlimited number of trips within a year, provided each trip doesn’t exceed 42 days long. You will get the choice between essential and comprehensive cover with this policy.
This policy will cover you for:
- Medical expenses and person accidents
- Legal expenses
- Cancellation, delays, airline failures and loss of baggage
Endsleigh’s gap year travel insurance
Endsleigh’s gap year travel insurance is designed with the adventurer in mind, and covers you for any trip from three months up to a year long, anywhere in the world.
This policy will cover you for:
- Medical expenses and personal accidents
- Legal expenses
- Cancellation, delays, postponing the trip and airline failures
- Lost or stolen bags, passports, visas and money
- Over 100 activities, ranging from volunteering to wind surfing
Endsleigh’s studying abroad insurance
Endsleigh’s studying abroad insurance has been designed to cater for students studying all or part of their degree outside of the UK, and also includes cover for students doing internships or work placements abroad.
This policy will cover you for:
- Course fees if you have to cancel due to an insured event
- Cancellation of the trip and for pre-paid excursions
- Single items and musical instruments, if specified
- Loss of: passport, money, documents, baggage, personal possessions
- Medical expenses

Endsleigh’s two levels of cover, Essential and Comprehensive, offer different benefits. Comprehensive offers a more complete cover, with more situations included in the policy, as well as a higher average payout.

What is my excess?
An excess is the amount of money you contribute to each claim you make before Endsleigh Travel Insurance pay out.
The amount of your excess will depend on the level of cover you have and the nature of your claim. Make sure to check your policy schedule where your excess details will be shown in detail.
What is the claims process for Endsleigh Travel Insurance?
To make a claim with Endsleigh, you can either call one of their help lines, or you can make a claim online, depending on the claim type. To do so, just visit the claim centre page on the Endsleigh website, and you will be given options on how to claim depending on your policy.
Which number to call will depend on who underwrites your policy. If you do not know who underwrites your policy, then you can call either 0333 234 1693 or +44(0)1242 217 302. The line is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and 9am to 12pm on Saturday.
