Since 2015, Airbnb listings in London have increased by 398%, going from 18,000 to over 91,000 in 2023.
The average price of an Airbnb listing in London is £174 a night. However, when looking only at recent listings and those frequently booked, the average price per night comes down to £148.

Which London borough has the most Airbnbs?
Westminster has the highest number of Airbnbs out of the London boroughs (10,322). It is followed by Tower Hamlets (7,405) and Hackney (6,392). Sutton has the fewest Airbnb listings of all London boroughs (390) followed by Havering (415) and Harrow (524).
What is the minimum length of stay in London Airbnbs?
London is a popular destination for short-term city breaks and this is reflected by the length of minimum nights required by Airbnb hosts.
The majority of listings (around 27,000) have a minimum stay of 1 night for a booking, while around 22,000 listings have a minimum stay of 2 nights. Of all the total listings, over half (54%) have a minimum stay of just 1 or 2 nights.
Overall, around 97% of the listings are classed as short-term rentals (with a minimum stay of less than 30 days), while the remaining 3% are longer-term rentals with a minimum stay of 30 days or more.
What types of properties in London are available on Airbnb?
Around 3 in 5 (62.5%) of the available Airbnbs in London are listed as entire homes or apartments, which totals over 57,000 separate listings. Private rooms account for more than a third of the listings (37%), which is almost 34,000 properties. These are the two most popular types, but there are also a handful of shared rooms (432) and hotel rooms (203) listed on Airbnb in London.
How many London Airbnb hosts have multiple listings?
Over half of Airbnbs (51%) in London are by hosts with multiple listings (47,000). The most common number of listings per host is still 1 (45,000 listings), but interestingly, the next most common is hosts with 10 or more Airbnb listings (18,000 listings).
