Chase might sound like a slick, new digital bank, but its roots stretch back to 1799 when the Bank of The Manhattan Company was formed. A couple of mergers (and centuries) later it has blossomed into the modern Chase, which has over 56 million customers in the US alone.
These days, Chase is an app-only account offering cash rewards on your purchases, 24/7 support and Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) protection.
But does Chase offer any decent switch bonuses? And does it have any switch offers live at the moment?
Is Chase currently running a switching offer?
Chase does not have a switch offer at the moment.
Instead of switching bonuses, one key selling point of Chase is the cashback rewards for a limited time after opening an account.
What switching offers have been available in the past?
Chase was already a major success in the US when it first came to the UK, but to help drum up interest it launched a welcome deal for a limited time. It wasn’t a proper Chase switching bonus, but it was the next best thing.
To claim the £20, you simply had to have been a new customer. After downloading the app and applying for an account, you needed to type in a bonus code. Once your account was opened successfully, you could go to the Rewards section in the app to activate the offer. You then had 30 days to deposit at least £20 to claim your £20 bonus from Chase, which was usually paid out straight away.
When might the bank launch a new switching offer?
Chase does not have a history of switching offers which makes it impossible to guess when – or even if – they’ll launch a new switch bonus.
If there is a new switch bonus from Chase, we can let you know. To stay in the loop, sign up to our newsletter and we’ll reach out if Chase get going on a new switch bonus.
We show offers we can track - that's not every product on the market...yet. Unless we've said otherwise, products are in no particular order. The terms "best", "top", "cheap" (and variations of these) aren't ratings, though we always explain what's great about a product when we highlight it. This is subject to our terms of use. When you make major financial decisions, consider getting independent financial advice. Always consider your own circumstances when you compare products so you get what's right for you.
