Mastercard Priceless Cities

Access exclusive activities, discounts or travel experiences with Mastercard Priceless Cities.

If you have a Mastercard credit card, you have the opportunity to book unique offers and experiences through the Priceless programme.

From a recording session with your favourite band to a cookery masterclass with a top chef to a meet-and-greet with the cast of a top West End show, Mastercard offers access to one-of-a-kind experiences that often aren’t available anywhere else, hence the name Priceless.

What is Mastercard Priceless Cities?

Priceless is a booking service offered exclusively to Mastercard customers featuring a wide range of unique experiences and offers. You can focus on events within your designated Priceless City or search for activities abroad to coincide with a holiday. There are also travel packages available, such as a weekend at the Goodwood Revival Festival or a sunset cruise in Miami. Cardholders also have the opportunity to access discounts, upgrades and special offers.

Customers of World Elite Mastercard and World Mastercard (these are issued in the UK by HSBC and Santander) are also able to enjoy even more exclusive offers and perks.

You can browse the range of offers on the Priceless website, which requires a sign-up. You can search by city or type of experience (entertainment, shopping, sports, culinary, travel or arts and culture). Customers can book directly through the website, but must use their Mastercard for payment.

What benefits will you get with Mastercard Priceless Cities?

  • You’ll get access to one-of-a-kind experience. Priceless have curated unique events with limited places available for Mastercard cardholders, including secret gigs, private tours and one-to-one workshops.
  • Free upgrades and perks. You could improve bookings with extra perks. For example, customers who book three nights at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas could enjoy a complimentary upgrade to a view room, $75 food and drinks credit and early check-in or late check-out.
  • Potential discounts. Customers can also enjoy discounts on event tickets, excursions, bookings and menus. For example, Mastercard Priceless cardholders could have 10% off their shopping at Liberty or up to 30% off a room at Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resorts or Holiday Inn.
  • Competitions. Mastercard sometimes hosts competitions and Priceless Surprises that are only available to Mastercard cardholders. For example, in 2017, Robbie Williams surprised a fan by performing with her daughter on stage at a private cinema gig.

Here’s more information on the Mastercard Priceless programme

Pros

  • VIP perks. Enjoy unique experiences that you won’t find elsewhere, from watching your favourite band record live in a studio to a VIP shopping experience with valet parking, gift card, lunch and exclusive discounts.
  • Exclusive discounts. You can save on your next shopping trip, meal or holiday with discounts only available when you pay with your Mastercard credit card.
  • Extra value. If you already have a Mastercard credit card, you could get extra value from your card by obtaining complimentary extras, such as booking upgrades or access to a personal shopper.
  • Travel benefits. You can make your next holiday even more special by adding a special experience to your itinerary, such as watching baseball players practice at Yankee Stadium in New York or chat to musicians from the Orchestre Hélios after their show in Paris

Cons

  • Card costs. Some Mastercard credit cards have an annual fee, while most have interest costs. So, you should make sure that these costs don’t outweigh the value of Mastercard Priceless and the other card features.
  • Limited UK locations. Most of the UK-based experiences tend to be in and around London, so if you live further away, your choices of experiences will be limited.
  • Terms and conditions. Some events and experiences are only available at certain times, while other perks may require a printed voucher. Be aware, you can’t just expect a benefit by simply turning up with a Mastercard.

We show offers we can track - that's not every product on the market...yet. Unless we've said otherwise, products are in no particular order. The terms "best", "top", "cheap" (and variations of these) aren't ratings, though we always explain what's great about a product when we highlight it. This is subject to our terms of use. When you make major financial decisions, consider getting independent financial advice. Always consider your own circumstances when you compare products so you get what's right for you. Most of the data in Finder's comparison tables has the source: Moneyfacts Group PLC. In other cases, Finder has sourced data directly from providers.
