Cover limits
Simply Business offers a minimum level of £1 million public liability insurance. Depending on the nature of your business and client demands, you may need a higher level of cover.
For professional indemnity insurance, you can usually choose between £50,000 and £5 million of cover.

Claims process
You can make a claim online at any time using the form provided on Simply Business’ website. Someone from the company’s UK-based specialist team will then give you a call back to start the process.
You can also call the team on 0333 207 0560, but be sure you have your policy number to hand. Claim lines are open 24/7.
Once your claim is submitted, you will get access to a claims tracking tool so you can keep tabs on how your claim is progressing.
Your claim will be reviewed by Simply Business and, after a settlement is agreed, you’ll then receive a BACS transfer within 24 hours, or an approved contractor will be sent to fix your issue.
Managing your policy online
When you take out a policy with Simply Business, you can sign up to an online portal where you can manage your policy and view your documents.
