What benefits will you get with American Express Experiences?
You’ll get access to reserved tickets. You can use your American Express credit card to purchase reserved tickets to some of the hottest events or concerts.
Pre-sale ticket opportunity. Secure concert, theatre or sports tickets before the general public with American Express Experiences pre-sales. Usually, you’ll be required to pay with your American Express credit card and enter a promotional code to access the tickets.
Enjoy the American Express Lounge. Relax before your next concert in the private American Express Lounge at The O2 in London. Show your American Express card at the door and you (and up to 3 guests) can enjoy a free welcome drink and the opportunity to eat and drink in comfort away from the crowds before and after the show. You can also play your favourite songs on the American Express Jukebox to get you in the party spirit.
Potential discounts on tickets. You can also enjoy discounts on ticket prices to select events.
National Theatre Backstage Tour. Your membership entitles you to an exclusive, complimentary behind-the-scenes tour of one of Britain’s most iconic theatres for you and 3 friends. Learn about how the props, scenery and special effects come together for over 20 world-class productions a year.
Chance to pay with points. You can use your Membership Rewards to pay for tickets booked through Ticketmaster and AXS. All you need to do is purchase the tickets using your American Express credit card and you can select your Membership Rewards points to cover all or some of the cost.
Competitions. American Express Experiences sometimes hosts competitions that are only available to AMEX cardholders. For example, in 2018, the programme (then American Express Invites) offered cardholders the chance to win tickets to see Justin Timberlake in London.

Example: Emily buys hard-to-find concert tickets
Emily, a writer at Finder, had been trying to see hip-hop group De La Soul in concert for years, but kept missing out on tickets because their London dates sold out so fast.
As an American Express cardholder, she received an email invitation to American Express Experiences pre-sale for the band's Summer Series gig at Somerset House. She was able to buy tickets to see one of her favourite bands using her American Express card before they went on general sale.
