Rampant fees and an enormous APR mean you should stay far away.
The Revvi Visa® Credit Card is a fee-laden card marketed as a tool that can help you build credit. Unfortunately, the card has a greater chance of hindering your credit-building efforts than helping. Right off the bat, you’ll need to pay a $95 setup fee — something you won’t find on any card worth owning. On top of that, you’ll pay a $75 annual fee for your first year and $48 each year thereafter. The card also possesses the rare monthly service fee starting on your second year, which will cost you an additional $8.25 per month. Finally, the card comes with a gut punch of an APR at 35.99% variable.
This card, in short, is meant to passively suck money out of your wallet. To simply own the card for your first year, you’ll be paying $170. While some providers like to argue that such fees are the tradeoff for being allowed to own a credit card with poor credit, this argument doesn’t hold much weight in today’s market, where plentiful credit-building options are available without such blistering fees — powerful credit-building cards, at that.
As such, we can’t recommend this card to consumers, even those desperate to build credit. The risks are too great and the fees are too many.

We recommend against applying for this card. But if you must, here’s how to do it.
Just because you have poor credit doesn’t mean you need to subject yourself to numerous fees to rebuild. Check out our full guide on unsecured credit building cards for even more options.
As this card comes with many fees, we recommend comparing other credit cards that are likely to approve those with a low credit score. These cards can help you build credit without taking money out of your pocket.
The Finder Score is a simple score out of 10. The higher a savings account's score, the better we think it is for the average customer.
We score each credit card in our database of hundreds based on a data-driven methodology with 3 main criteria: Does the card offer rewards? Does the card have an annual fee? What's the card APR%?
We’re unable to find customer reviews of the Revvi Visa® Credit Card as of October 2021. What’s more, we couldn’t find the provider behind the Revvi Visa® Credit Card, MRV Banks, on the Better Business Bureau or Trustpilot websites.
Steer clear of this expensive credit card. If you need help building your credit score, there are better credit-building options available, even if you have a history of poor credit. You can also check out some secured credit cards for another easily accessible — but less financially punishing — credit-building option.
