Vancity offers three main types of cards to BC residents: fee-free rewards cards, personal/business rewards cards and low-interest cards. enviro Classic Visa Card
The enviro Classic Visa Card lets you earn one point for every two dollars you spend on regular purchases, in addition to one point per dollar when you book travel through the Vancity Rewards program
This card doesn’t charge an annual fee and comes with travel accident insurance up to $200,000, extended warranty coverage and purchase security coverage.
enviro Classic Visa Low-Interest Card
You won’t collect rewards or qualify for additional benefits with this card, but the relatively low interest rate on purchases is a big draw for customers compared to other cards on the market. You’ll also pay a much smaller annual fee than with most other Vancity cards. Consider this card if you’re looking to finance a large purchase or you have trouble paying off your balance in full every month.
enviro Gold Visa card with Vancity Rewards Accelerator
This card comes with a high fee but offers more rewards points for every dollar you spend, along with a welcome bonus and bonus points every year on your card’s anniversary. You’ll also earn additional the points when you book travel through the Vancity rewards program.
You’ll also get access to extra benefits including travel insurance – with coverage for accidents, auto rental theft/collision, delayed/lost baggage and more – as well as extended warranty/purchase protection on all purchases made with your card.
