Eligibility requirements
- Be a resident of Canada
- Be at least the age of majority in your province or territory (18 or 19 years old)
- Have an income of $12,000 or higher
- Have a credit score of 640 or higher (recommended)

- Proof of employment status and income like recent pay stubs, bank statements or tax Notices of Assessment
- Your full name and contact information
- Your Social Insurance Number (SIN) and date of birth

How to apply for the Scotiabank SCENE+ Visa Card
- Visit Scotiabank's website and select Apply now.
- If you already have a Scotiabank account, sign in to online banking. If not, you’ll need to apply as a new customer.
- Once you’ve logged in to your account, go to Products & Services, then select Credit cards and choose the Scotiabank SCENE+ Visa Card.
- Read through the customer information provided and select Agree and continue.
- Provide personal, contact, employment, financial and housing information. Set up a security question. Choose whether you want to receive paper or electronic statements, and add an additional cardholder if necessary.
- Review your application information and select Continue. Review and agree to the terms and conditions and submit your application.
- If approved, it could take up to 14 business days to receive your new card in the mail. To begin using it, you’ll need to activate the card online or over the phone.
