Coast Capital Savings offers six credit cards including travel rewards, no annual fee, low purchase rate and US dollar credit cards.

Coast Capital Cash Back Mastercard

This card lets you earn rewards and has no annual fee. Get a $50 statement credit for new members. Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on grocery, gas, sustainable transit, select recurring bills and digital streaming purchases (up to a $5,000 cap), and 0.5 points on everything else.

This card also offers extended warranty coverage and purchase protection, along with mobile device insurance.

Coast Capital World Mastercard

This premium credit card offers enhanced rewards and access to premium travel services. Get 5,000 Welcome Points. Plus, Get a $100 statement credit for new members. Earn 3 points for every $1 spent on groceries (up to a $20,000 cap), 2 points for every $1 spent on dining & entertainment ($15,000 cap), and 1 point for every $1 spent on everything else.

Coast Capital Cash Back World Elite Mastercard

A step-up from the World Mastercard, you’ll get all the benefits plus more with the World Elite. Enjoy maximum rewards and travel insurance with the same annual fee of $120. Earn 4 points for every $1 spent on grocery and sustainable transit ($20,000 cap), 2 points for every $1 spent on select recurring bills, digital streaming, and dining ($20,000 cap), and 1 point for every $1 spent on everything else.

Coast Capital Centra Gold Mastercard

If you tend to hold a balance on your credit card each month and you’re looking to pay off that interest once and for all, a low purchase rate credit card could help you achieve this goal. The Coast Capital Centra Gold Mastercard offers a low purchase and cash advance rate of 12.99%. It comes with a low annual fee of $50.

Coast Capital Classic Mastercard

If you’re not keen on paying the $50 annual fee that the Centra Mastercard charges, you can turn to the Classic Mastercard. This card offers only slightly higher interest rates (13.99% for purchases and cash advances), but charges no annual fee. One thing to keep in mind with this card is that you won’t earn rewards points either though.

Coast Capital US Dollar Mastercard

If you travel to the States often and tend to spend in USD, a US Dollar card can come in handy and help you save on currency conversion fees. With a low annual fee of $50, you can earn rewards points and spend in US dollars.

Coast Capital Savings credit cards offer returns in the form of bonus dollars, which can be used to purchase financial products (like RRSPs), catalogue rewards, event tickets and travel packages.

How to redeem points

The way you’ll redeem your bonus dollars depends on which kind of rewards you want to cash in on. You can sign into your online banking to see how many points you’ve earned. To redeem points for merchandise, you need to register for an account at www.bonusdollars.ca. For travel, you’ll need to spend the money on your trip in advance, and then you can apply your bonus dollars to your statement to cover the cost.
