  • Decent return. Earn 1.5 Aventura Points for every dollar you spend on daily purchases like gas and groceries.
  • Welcome bonus. Earn up to 35,000 Aventura Points (up to $800 in travel value). Get 20,000 Aventura Points when you make your first purchase. Plus, in the first year, you can earn an additional 1,250 Aventura Points each monthly when you spend at least $1,000. That’s a total of up to 15,000 points. Also, get a rebate on the first year annual fee.
  • Airport Companion Program. Gain access to 1,200+ airport lounges with 4 complimentary visits per year.
  • Travel medical insurance. Avoid paying for third-party travel medical insurance with full coverage on your card for the first 15 days of your trip.
  • Travel benefits. Protect against losses with additional trip interruption, hotel burglary, baggage and flight delay insurance.

  • Nexus fee rebate. Apply for fast border crossings between the US and Canada and get a $50 rebate on your application fee
  • Common carrier insurance. Insure your trip with up to $500,000 coverage when you travel by plane, ferry, train or bus. You'll get coverage for travel accidents, lost/stolen/damaged baggage, car rental theft and damage, flight delays, hotel burglaries, mobile devices, Purchase Security and Extended Protection Insurance.
  • Car rental insurance. Get covered for collision and damage when you rent a car using your card.
  • Mobile device insurance. Get coverage for the cost of replacing your cell phone in the event of loss, damage or theft.

What to watch out for

  • Annual fee. It costs $139 per year to maintain this card.
