What you’ll like about the Fifth Third Access 360 Reloadable Prepaid Card
The Fifth Third Access 360 Reloadable Prepaid Card helps you stick to a budget by declining any charges that would bring your balance below $0. It also has these benefits:
- Waivable monthly fee. The $4 monthly fee is lower than most prepaid cards, and Fifth Third Bank will waive it for checking account holders who deposit at least $500 onto it each month.
- Large ATM network. Use your card to withdraw cash for free at over 50,000 ATMs nationwide. You’ll pay $2.75 plus operator fees if you use a non-network ATM.
- Minimal fees. The Fifth Third Access 360 Reloadable Prepaid Card doesn’t have any fees for overdrafts, inactivity, cash deposits, bank transfers, card replacements, ATM balance inquiries and more.
What to watch out for
As with most prepaid cards, the Fifth Third Access 360 Reloadable Prepaid Card doesn’t help you build your credit. And you’ll need to make fuel purchases inside instead of paying at the pump to avoid holds on your account. It also has these drawbacks.
- Must open at a branch. You can open most prepaid cards online, but you have to visit a Fifth Third Bank branch to get this one.
- Not ideal for traveling abroad. Although Fifth Third Bank is light on fees, it has a short list of international fees that make it less appealing when visiting other countries.
International fee | Amount |
---|---|
International point-of-sale or ATM transactions | 3% |
Currency conversions | 0.2% |
International ATM withdrawals | $5 |
If you’re looking for a card you can open online or that has lower international fees, explore your options until you find a prepaid card that’s right for you.
